So I got into a minor accident yesterday - I'm fine and the car is fine. My first ever with myself driving. There was a sudden blizzard and I was trying to pick up my sister. I somehow managed to slide through the snow, do a 180, and end up on the other side of the road in a ditch. I backed out and left my car in the gas station parking lot (it was right across from it) and went inside. I then managed to have locked my keys in my car during my shock. So I had to call the police and have them unlock it. *facepalm* I didn't report the accident however, due to the fact that there was no damage to the car. But I ended up leaving the car there overnight because I didn't think it could handle driving home. It needs new tires. :/
You find yourself driving down a lengthy gravel driveway. Your surroundings depend on the time of year. During spring and summer, you'll be surrounded by rich green grass. In fall, the forest comes alive with color as the leaves change. In winter, snow glistens across the grounds.
At the top of the driveway is a small parking lot with several horse trailers parked off to the side. The stables are directly in front of you, the horses either resting inside or wandering their pastures, depending on the time of day and the weather outside.
Welcome to Whimsical Otter Stables. Located in New England, we are a stable still trying to figure out what to specialize in. We have both realistic and otherworldly equines who are trained in both english and western. We're still trying to find our niche in the equestrian world.

ABOUT US
Where are you?
We're located in rural New England, tucked peacefully into the mountains at a reasonably easy access point for visitors. The scenery seems to change nearly every day here. It makes for a lot of excitement and the horses never seem to be bored. We frequently see wild animals, such as deer, though have been blessed never to have come upon a bear while trail riding.
What breeds/colors do you have?
As stated in our Welcome post, we're still trying to find our niche. We currently have several different types of horses, though we'll be putting up some of our fantasy horses shortly. Our breeds will vary, but we're trying to get mostly realistic. We hope to lean towards becoming a mainly english stable at this point in time.
What do you have for riding facilities?
Outdoor jumping ring
Outdoor dressage ring
Outdoor warm up ring
Outdoor roundpen
Indoor all-purpose ring (for winter and rain)
Cross-country course
Miles and miles of trails leading up into the mountains and through nearby towns
Who are you?
In real life, I'm just a girl who loves horses, really.
Do you have any riders?
Indeed! For eventing, we have Crystal, who is 19 and very knowledgeable about horses. She only specializes in eventing; she can do any english event. We also have Alice, 23, who rides both english and western.
